
Clinic/Practice Assistant Senior

- Provide excellent patient care by assisting with check-in and check-out procedures, scheduling appointments, and answering patient questions.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the clinic by maintaining inventory of supplies, ordering necessary equipment, and coordinating with other team members.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a high level of customer service and patient satisfaction.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and procedures to accurately document patient information and assist with medical procedures as needed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality by handling sensitive information with discretion and following all HIPAA regulations.
- Act as a senior team member by providing guidance and support to other clinic/practice assistants, and assisting with training new staff members.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and billing to contribute to the efficient functioning of the clinic.
- Work independently and efficiently to complete tasks and prioritize responsibilities, while also being able to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices by attending trainings, workshops, and conferences as required.
- Demonstrate a positive and compassionate attitude towards patients, coworkers, and other healthcare professionals, while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Clinic Or Practice Environment.
Proficiency In Electronic Medical Records (Emr) Systems, With A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Coding.
Proven Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Responsibilities In A Fast-Paced Environment.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent, With Additional Education Or Certifications In Medical Assisting Or Healthcare Administration Preferred.
