- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the clinic or practice
- Assist with patient check-in and registration, ensuring all necessary forms and documentation are completed accurately
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays or payments from patients
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Communicate with healthcare providers, staff, and patients to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Help maintain a clean and organized office space
- Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to all patients and visitors
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and procedures for better patient care
- Attend trainings and meetings to stay updated on healthcare policies and procedures
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by supervisor.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
One Year Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Clinic Or Medical Office.
Strong Computer And Data Entry Skills, With Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Electronic Medical Records.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients, Providers, And Coworkers In A Professional And Empathetic Manner.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Insurance Regulations, With The Ability To Accurately Schedule Appointments, Verify Insurance Coverage, And Process Patient Payments.
