1. Greet and welcome customers to the cafe in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the cafe's point-of-sale system.
3. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
4. Maintain a clean and organized cafe environment, including tables, counters, and display cases.
5. Ensure that all food and beverage items are properly stocked and rotated to maintain freshness.
6. Assist with food preparation and assembly, including making coffee and other beverages.
7. Answer customer questions and provide recommendations on menu items.
8. Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met, including proper storage and handling of food items.
9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations in the cafe.
10. Continuously strive to provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues.
11. Monitor inventory levels and inform management of any shortages or needs.
12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and food safety.
13. Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on new menu items, promotions, and procedures.
14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in interactions with customers.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the cafe manager or supervisor.
