- Provide direct care to burn trauma patients in a compassionate and respectful manner.
- Monitor and assess patient's condition and report any changes to the medical team.
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform wound care and dressing changes.
- Monitor and maintain patient's vital signs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on burn care and prevention.
- Maintain patient records and document all care provided accurately.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist with patient rehabilitation and therapy activities.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care policies and procedures.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Completion Of A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Training Program And Current Cna Certification.
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In A Hospital Setting, Preferably In A Burn Trauma Or Surgical Unit.
Basic Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures Related To Burn Trauma And Surgical Care.
Ability To Effectively Communicate And Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Demonstrated Proficiency In Providing Direct Patient Care, Including Vital Signs Monitoring, Wound Care, And Assisting With Procedures Under The Direction Of A Registered Nurse.
