ANTENATAL STAFF NURSE - BWH

1. Provide exceptional healthcare services to pregnant patients and their families.
2. Support patients throughout their pregnancy journey, from prenatal care to postpartum care.
3. Assess and monitor the health of pregnant patients and their unborn babies.
4. Educate patients and their families on prenatal care, childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
6. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
7. Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to physicians.
8. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures and childbirth.
9. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
10. Advocate for patients' needs and preferences to ensure they receive the best possible care.
11. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
12. Stay updated on current best practices and standards in maternal and newborn care.
13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards.
14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
15. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient patient care experience.
16. Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.
17. Attend educational and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
