
Anesthesia Technician - 24 hrs

We are currently seeking a dedicated Anesthesia Technician to join our team for 24 hours per week. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our anesthesia providers in delivering high-quality care to our patients. - Support Anesthesia Providers: The Anesthesia Technician will assist Anesthesia Providers in delivering high-quality care to patients by preparing and maintaining equipment, setting up and monitoring IV lines, and providing general support during procedures.
- Maintain Equipment: The Anesthesia Technician will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is clean, properly maintained, and functioning correctly. This may include troubleshooting and reporting any issues to the appropriate parties.
- Prepare and Set Up: The Anesthesia Technician will be responsible for preparing and setting up the operating room for procedures. This may include stocking supplies, setting up anesthesia carts, and ensuring all necessary equipment is readily available.
- Monitor Patient Vital Signs: The Anesthesia Technician will be responsible for monitoring patient vital signs during procedures and alerting the Anesthesia Provider of any changes or concerns.
- Maintain Records: The Anesthesia Technician will maintain accurate and complete records of procedures, supplies used, and any other relevant information as required by the hospital.
- Assist with Patient Care: The Anesthesia Technician may be required to assist with patient care, such as positioning patients, transporting them to and from the operating room, and providing emotional support when needed.
- Follow Safety Protocols: The Anesthesia Technician will adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and themselves at all times.
- Collaborate with Team: The Anesthesia Technician will work closely with other members of the healthcare team, including Anesthesia Providers, Nurses, and Surgical Technologists, to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Stay Current with Industry Trends: The Anesthesia Technician will stay updated on industry trends and advancements in anesthesia technology to continuously improve their skills and knowledge.
- Maintain Professionalism: The Anesthesia Technician will maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times and adhere to the hospital's code of conduct and policies.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: The Anesthesia Technician will provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive experience
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cat) Credential From A Recognized Organization Such As The American Society Of Anesthesia Technologists And Technicians (Asatt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working As An Anesthesia Technician In A Hospital Or Surgical Setting.
Knowledge Of Anesthesia Equipment And Supplies, Including Proper Setup, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting.
Willingness To Work A Flexible Schedule, Including Weekends And Holidays, As This Is A 24-Hour Position.
