Job Description

Wells Fargo is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teller to join our team. Our Tellers are critical to providing our customers with exceptional service every day. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills, an eagerness to learn, and a commitment to providing an excellent banking experience.Qualifications for this role include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of cash handling experience, strong computer literacy, and a passion for customer service. Previous experience in banking is highly desirable. A friendly, outgoing personality is a must, as the Teller will be the face of our organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem solving skills and be comfortable with providing financial advice to customers. We are looking for someone who is organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
  2. Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and helping customers with their banking needs.
  3. Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and applicable laws.
  4. Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift and complete daily reports.
  5. Cross-sell products and services to meet customer needs.
  6. Upsell products and services to increase customer satisfaction.
  7. Identify customer needs and refer them to the appropriate banking personnel.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
  9. Answer customer questions and provide helpful advice.
  10. Address customer complaints or refer them to the appropriate personnel.
