Sr. Mainframe Developer (Information Security)

Wells Fargo is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Mainframe Developer (Information Security) to join its Information Security team. This position requires a strong collaborator with the ability to think critically and analyze complex information security related issues. The successful candidate should have experience with enterprise security and mainframe technologies, system design and development, and have an understanding of security protocols and standards.The Sr. Mainframe Developer (Information Security) will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and sustaining mainframe security solutions; developing secure coding best practices; and providing technical security support and guidance to other Information Security teams. The successful candidate should have a strong technical background and experience in mainframe development, along with excellent problem solving skills and interpersonal communication skills. The ideal candidate should have a passion for learning and exploring new technologies and be excited to work in a fast-paced environment.Required Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field* 5+ years of experience in mainframe development and/or Information Security* Knowledge of mainframe development languages, including COBOL, CICS, and Assembler* Knowledge of IBM mainframe technologies, such as RACF, and encryption* Experience working with enterprise security solutions* Proven ability to evaluate security risk and design secure solutions* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams
