Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Financial Accountant to join our team at Wells Fargo. This position is critical to ensure the accurate and timely financial reporting of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, accounting principles, and financial reporting. An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks based on business needs is a must. If you have a passion for accounting and a desire to be part of a successful team, this position is for you!To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required and a CPA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Provide guidance on financial issues and advise on the best course of action for the organization.
  3. Monitor and review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  4. Develop and implement effective accounting policies and procedures.
  5. Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues.
  6. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
  7. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
  8. Maintain and update accounting records and databases.
  9. Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  10. Assist in the preparation for external audits.
  11. Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  12. Monitor and investigate any discrepancies in financial documents.
  13. Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls.
  14. Analyze and review financial statements to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  15. Generate reports and presentations as needed.
