Job Description

Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Senior Risk Analytics Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise to develop, implement, and manage analytical strategies in support of risk management initiatives. You will work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that risk is managed effectively and in accordance with company standards.To be successful in this role, you must have extensive experience in data analysis, risk management, and quantitative modeling. You should possess superior communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise advice to senior management. You should have a strong understanding of emerging technologies and the ability to identify and leverage new opportunities to improve the risk management process. You should also have a good understanding of business process, process improvement, and project management principles. An advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, statistics, economics, finance) and at least 5 years of experience in risk analytics is strongly preferred.If you are an analytical and strategic thinker with a passion for risk management and a commitment to excellence, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and manage analytical strategies in support of risk management initiatives.
  2. Provide clear and concise advice to senior management on risk management initiatives.
  3. Identify and leverage new opportunities to improve risk management process.
  4. Utilize emerging technologies to optimize risk management processes.
  5. Ensure risk management processes are in accordance with company standards.
  6. Utilize data analysis, risk management, and quantitative modeling to assess and manage risk.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure risk is managed effectively.
  8. Utilize business process, process improvement, and project management principles to optimize risk management.
  9. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the risk management field.
  10. Provide reports and presentations to senior management on risk management progress.
