Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the success of our customers, colleagues, and the financial services industry.The Senior Market Risk Specialist will have a key role in the monitoring and management of the company’s market risk across a variety of asset classes. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of financial markets and related regulations, and will have experience working directly with traders, portfolio managers, and other risk management professionals.The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field, and at least five years of experience in market risk management in the financial services industry. They will be highly motivated, organized, and able to quickly learn new systems and processes. They will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a passion for the financial services industry and will be driven to help Wells Fargo continue to be a leader in the industry.

Responsibilites:

  1. Monitor and manage the company’s market risk across a variety of asset classes.
  2. Work directly with traders, portfolio managers, and other risk management professionals.
  3. Quickly learn new systems and processes.
  4. Develop and maintain strong communication with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  5. Develop and maintain effective problem-solving skills.
  6. Work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Monitor financial markets and related regulations.
  8. Develop strategies to help Wells Fargo stay competitive in the industry.
  9. Provide guidance and advice to other team members.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes.
