- Design and implement security solutions for mainframe systems to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on mainframe systems to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards for mainframe systems in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Monitor mainframe systems for security breaches, respond to security incidents, and perform forensic investigations when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and implement security best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to proactively identify and address potential risks.
- Provide guidance and training to junior security engineers and other team members on security best practices and procedures.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their security requirements and ensure that mainframe systems meet their needs.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of mainframe systems to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure the security of mainframe systems in case of a crisis or disaster.
Extensive Experience In Mainframe Security: A Senior Information Security Engineer At Wells Fargo Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Maintaining Mainframe Security Controls.
Strong Knowledge Of Mainframe Security Products: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Mainframe Security Products Such As Racf, Acf2, And Top Secret, And Should Possess The Ability To Configure And Troubleshoot These Products.
Proven Track Record In Risk Management: As A Senior Information Security Engineer, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Risk Management Principles And Should Have Experience In Identifying And Mitigating Security Risks In A Mainframe Environment.
Expertise In Compliance And Regulatory Requirements: Wells Fargo Is A Highly Regulated Financial Institution, And The Senior Information Security Engineer Should Be Well-Versed In Compliance Standards Such As Pci-Dss, Sox, And Glba, And Should Have Experience In Ensuring Mainframe Systems Are Compliant With These Regulations.
