- Conduct thorough investigations of potential financial crimes, utilizing various tools and techniques to gather evidence and identify suspicious activities.
- Analyze complex financial data and transactions to identify patterns and potential risks.
- Monitor and review customer accounts and transactions for any suspicious or fraudulent activity, and take appropriate action if necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as legal and compliance, to ensure compliance with all financial crime laws, regulations, and policies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging financial crime risks to proactively identify potential threats.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate and escalate potential financial crime issues.
- Conduct training and provide guidance to team members and other employees on financial crime prevention and detection techniques.
- Participate in the development and implementation of strategies and processes to prevent and mitigate financial crime risks.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive information and investigations.
- Proactively identify and report any potential gaps or weaknesses in current financial crime prevention measures.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other team members on complex financial crime cases.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives related to financial crime prevention and detection.

Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Financial Crimes Investigation Or Related Field.
In-Depth Understanding Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Financial Crimes, Including Bsa/Aml And Ofac.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Patterns And Trends In Complex Financial Data.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Findings To Senior Management.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Finance, Accounting, Or Criminal Justice. Professional Certifications (E.g. Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) May Also Be Preferred.
