  1. Provide expert legal advice and counsel on a variety of labor and employment matters to support the company's business objectives.
  2. Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to proactively manage and mitigate potential legal risks related to labor and employment issues.
  4. Represent the company in employment-related litigation, including drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, and appearing in court.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR and business leaders, to develop and implement effective labor relations strategies.
  6. Advise and train managers and employees on legal requirements and best practices related to labor and employment matters.
  7. Stay up-to-date on changes in labor laws and regulations and provide recommendations for necessary updates to company policies and practices.
  8. Coordinate with outside counsel as needed and manage outside legal expenses.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies and other external stakeholders related to labor and employment matters.
  10. Conduct internal investigations and provide guidance on appropriate actions to be taken in response to employee complaints or concerns.
  11. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for other legal team members and business partners on labor and employment issues.
  12. Participate in the development and implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs.
  13. Prepare and deliver presentations on labor and employment topics to various audiences.
  14. Participate in industry and professional development events and maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  15. Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Experience In Labor Relations And Employment Counseling, With A Focus On Litigation.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws, Regulations, And Case Law.

  • Ability To Provide Strategic And Practical Advice To Senior Management On Labor Relations Issues.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Representing Clients In Employment Litigation, Including Arbitrations And Administrative Hearings.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Legal Concepts To Non-Legal Stakeholders.
