Job Description

Wells Fargo is looking for a Securities Quantitative Analytics Associate to join the Asset & Liability Management team in our Charlotte, NC office. This individual will be responsible for providing quantitative analytics to support the management of the firm’s financial risk exposures. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and organized professional with strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering and have a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. Prior experience in a banking environment with knowledge of asset and liability products is highly preferred. The candidate must have experience with financial modeling, strong attention to detail, and a passion for analytics and problem-solving. They must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to meet tight deadlines. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide quantitative analytics to support the management of the firm’s financial risk exposures.
  2. Utilize financial modeling and quantitative skills to analyze and interpret data.
  3. Develop strategies for managing financial risk exposures.
  4. Perform research and analysis to identify and mitigate potential risk exposures.
  5. Monitor and analyze market trends and financial market data.
  6. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of asset and liability products.
  8. Work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Comply with all Wells Fargo policies and procedures.
  10. Meet tight deadlines and provide accurate and timely deliverables.
