
SEC Reporting - Financial Reporting Analyst
At Wells Fargo, we’re looking for a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Analyst to join our SEC Reporting team. Our ideal candidate is a team-player with excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting regulations. With a passion for problem solving and a commitment to excellence, the Financial Reporting Analyst will be a crucial part of our team’s success.The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, and at least three years of experience in financial reporting in the banking or financial services industry. Experience in SEC reporting is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will also have expertise with financial reporting software such as Oracle, Hyperion or SAP.We’re looking for a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team. The Financial Reporting Analyst should be comfortable with tight deadlines and have excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the role requires the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. The Financial Reporting Analyst should also be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and have a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate financial reports in line with SEC regulations and internal standards.
- Analyze financial data and develop meaningful insights to support decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics and trends.
- Develop and maintain financial forecasting models.
- Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and ensure compliance.
- Participate in preparation of SEC filings.
- Utilize financial reporting software such as Oracle, Hyperion or SAP.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of financial reports and SEC filings.
- Ensure timely completion of financial reporting tasks.
