Job Description

Are you an experienced Financial Reporting Analyst looking to take on a new challenge in SEC Reporting at Wells Fargo? We are looking for a professional with strong technical finance and accounting knowledge and excellent communication skills to join our team in this important role. Working closely with the Corporate Controller’s Group, you will be an integral part of our SEC Reporting team.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 4+ years of combined experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting, with a focus on SEC reporting. A CPA and/or MBA is preferred, as well as a deep understanding of SEC financial reporting rules and regulations. You must also have strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent communication and analytical abilities, and the ability to work independently. In addition, you must be a team player who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities. Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and review SEC filings and financial statements, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q.
  2. Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
  3. Analyze financial transactions and document results.
  4. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial reporting systems and processes.
  5. Prepare and analyze financial reports and presentations.
  6. Participate in special projects as needed.
  7. Work closely with the Corporate Controller’s Group to ensure accurate and timely completion of SEC filings.
  8. Research and respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Identify and recommend process improvements.
  10. Demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
