Lead Operational Risk Officer

We are currently seeking a Lead Operational Risk Officer who will be responsible for developing and driving the operational risk management strategy for our organization. This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of risk management principles, a commitment to operational excellence, and a desire to be part of a highly collaborative team. The successful individual will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in operational risk management, including experience in developing strategies and leading teams. They must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization. In addition, they must be highly organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines. A Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or a related field is required.

1. Develop and drive the operational risk management strategy for Wells Fargo.
2. Utilize strong understanding of risk management principles in day-to-day operations.
3. Lead teams in order to achieve operational excellence.
4. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
5. Prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines.
6. Maintain relationships with all levels of the organization.
7. Develop strategies to mitigate operational risk.
8. Ensure compliance with operational risk management policies and procedures.
9. Monitor and analyze risk trends and recommend corrective action.
10. Keep up-to-date on regulatory changes related to operational risk.
