Lead Operational Risk Officer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Operational Risk Officer to join Wells Fargo’s Operational Risk team. Responsibilities:

1. Lead the operational risk team to identify, assess, and manage risk exposure across the organization.
2. Develop and implement operational risk management standards and regulations to ensure a robust risk management system.
3. Work closely with senior management and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices.
4. Monitor and report on operational risk metrics to ensure compliance and identify emerging risks.
5. Lead investigations into operational risk incidents, identify root causes, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
6. Establish and maintain effective relationships with external regulators and other stakeholders.
7. Provide advice and guidance to senior management on the identification and management of operational risk.
8. Design and deliver operational risk training programs to ensure all staff are aware of their responsibilities.
9. Evaluate and recommend changes to the operational risk framework to ensure it remains compliant and effective.
10. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization is compliant with the latest regulations.
