Lead Network Automation Engineer

Wells Fargo is looking for a Lead Network Automation Engineer to join the team and contribute to the development and implementation of network automation technologies. We’re looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about technology, can think strategically and can lead technical projects. This person should have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical personnel and exceptional communication abilities.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall network automation strategy and roadmap, developing automation scripts and tools, and providing day-to-day operational support to ensure the network is running optimally.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field• 5+ years of experience in network automation, scripting and/or coding• Experience with network automation platforms and tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Python, etc.)• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, etc.)• Knowledge of network troubleshooting techniques• Ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks• Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills
