  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Wells Fargo's financial controls framework.
  2. Lead the implementation of new controls and enhancements to existing controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  3. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of financial controls on an ongoing basis, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment of controls across business lines.
  5. Analyze financial data and identify potential risks to the organization, providing recommendations for mitigating actions.
  6. Oversee the testing and validation of financial controls, ensuring accuracy and completeness of results.
  7. Communicate control deficiencies and remediation plans to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  8. Train and mentor team members on financial controls processes and procedures.
  9. Stay informed of industry trends and developments in financial controls and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert on financial controls for internal and external audits and regulatory exams.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Financial Controls, Audit, Or Risk Management.

  • Strong Understanding Of Internal Controls And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Experience With Financial Systems And Data Analysis Tools Such As Sap, Tableau, Or Sql.
