- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Wells Fargo's financial reporting processes and controls.
- Lead and oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial controls, including identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data and reports to identify potential areas of improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with various teams and departments to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting and controls.
- Train and mentor junior financial controls analysts to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial controls and risk management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare and present reports and presentations on financial controls and risk management to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate any potential issues or concerns related to financial controls or risk management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new financial controls and policies as needed.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Financial Controls Or Risk Management.
Strong Understanding Of Financial Reporting Regulations And Industry Standards.
Prior Experience In Leading A Team Or Managing Projects.
