Job Description

The AI technology team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Engineer. Validate requirements including DRD and work with Business partners in Data Discovery phase. Create data ingestion architecture and design documentation. Develop data ingestion pipelines using Talend DCT, DCI frameworks. Develop applications using agile methodologies and Act as agile SME for the team. Design hive partitioning structure, ETL where predicates etc, by understanding the source data refresh and its indexing/partitioning structure. Perform unit testing. Support data ingestion refresh jobs deployment to production. Interact with various teams to conduct daily work.

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience

  • 4+ years of experience delivering ETL, data warehouse and data analytics capabilities on big-data architecture such as Hadoop

  • Good knowledge of Cloud Computing is desirable, especially Google Cloud Platform a plus

  • Good knowledge of Apache Beam, Dataflow, Dataproc related technologies is desirable.
