  1. Conduct thorough and accurate research on corporate tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance for Wells Fargo.
  2. Prepare and file corporate tax returns, including federal, state, and local taxes.
  3. Analyze financial data and documents to determine tax liabilities and identify potential tax savings opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams and external tax advisors to provide guidance on tax-related matters.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate any updates or changes to relevant stakeholders.
  6. Develop and maintain tax schedules, reports, and other documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  7. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of tax-related tasks.
  8. Communicate with government agencies and respond to tax inquiries and notices.
  9. Monitor and reconcile tax accounts and assist with tax payments.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to tax compliance and reporting.
  11. Provide support and assistance to other members of the tax team as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Corporate Tax, Preferably In A Financial Institution.

  • Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Tax Laws And Regulations.

  • Proficient In Tax Software And Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
