  1. Develop and maintain API standards and governance policies to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement API governance processes and procedures.
  3. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to API standards and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Provide guidance and support to development teams on API design and development best practices.
  5. Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in the API space and make recommendations for adoption.
  6. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and define API standards that meet their needs.
  7. Monitor and track API usage and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
  8. Develop and maintain documentation and training materials on API standards and governance processes.
  9. Participate in industry forums and conferences to stay informed on the latest developments in API governance.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to drive adoption of API standards and best practices.
  11. Identify and escalate any potential risks or issues related to API governance to management.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve API governance processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure API standards meet regulatory requirements.
  14. Mentor and train junior team members on API standards and governance best practices.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on API standards and governance for the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Software Development, Api Design, Or Related Roles.

  • Strong Understanding Of Api Standards And Governance Principles, Including Rest, Soap, And Microservices Architectures.

  • Experience With Api Management Platforms Such As Apigee, Mulesoft, Or Ibm Api Connect.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
