Job Description

At Wells Fargo, we are looking for an experienced Annuity and Insurance Supervisory Control Specialist to join our team. This position requires an individual with excellent problem-solving and communication skills, as well as a passion for developing efficient and effective strategies for risk management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the annuities and insurance industry, be knowledgeable in federal and state regulations, and have proven experience in financial and product analysis. We are looking for someone who is highly-organized, proactive, and has a demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement efficient and effective strategies for risk management of annuity and insurance products.
  2. Analyze financial and product data to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  3. Monitor and review annuity and insurance products to ensure accurate pricing and yield calculations.
  4. Provide guidance and support to team members regarding annuities and insurance products.
  5. Identify and address potential compliance issues and risks.
  6. Liaise with external stakeholders such as banks, clients, and vendors to resolve outstanding issues.
  7. Prepare and present reports to management regarding annuities and insurance products.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in the annuities and insurance industry.
  9. Provide training and mentorship to junior members of the team.
  10. Develop and document procedures to ensure consistent and compliant operations.
