Job Description

Sourcing and purchasing a variety of materials, parts, and/or supplies for support of operational requirements. Manage inventory levels to support production while minimizing investment in accordance with inventory policies. Obtain quotations, negotiate price, and award purchase orders based on total cost analysis. Manage suppliers to meet TA performance expectations. Analyze SAP exception messages to purchase or reschedule materials in support of production and customer needs. Work with other experienced TA personnel to qualify new suppliers. Analyze and resolve supplier invoice problems. Acquires and maintains general technical understanding of products purchased. Gather and analyze data related to purchasing function.
