Develop and implement strategic internal communication plans to drive employee engagement and promote a positive company culture.
Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment of internal messaging with the company's mission, values, and initiatives.
Lead a team of internal communication professionals to effectively deliver communications across all levels of the organization.
Create and manage content for various internal communication channels, including intranet, email, newsletters, and town hall meetings.
Ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging and branding across all internal communication materials.
Monitor and analyze employee feedback and engagement to continuously improve internal communication strategies.
Identify and implement innovative and creative ways to engage and connect with employees.
Act as a liaison between different departments to facilitate effective and timely communication.
Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to ensure timely and transparent communication during challenging situations.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in internal communications and incorporate them into the company's communication strategies.
Provide guidance and support to leadership and managers to effectively communicate with their teams.
Manage the internal communications budget and track the success of communication initiatives.
Build relationships with key stakeholders and influencers within the organization to promote collaboration and alignment.
Represent the company at internal events and meetings to communicate important updates and initiatives to employees.
Continuously measure and report on the effectiveness and impact of internal communications efforts.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Internal Communications: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Internal Communications, With A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Executing Effective Communication Strategies For Large Organizations.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Director, This Role Will Require The Candidate To Lead A Team Of Internal Communication Professionals. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Others, Are Essential.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills: The Candidate Must Have Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, As They Will Be Responsible For Crafting And Delivering Key Messages To Employees At All Levels Of The Organization.
Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: Waste Management Is A Large, Complex Organization, And The Senior Director Of Internal Communications Must Be Able To Think Strategically And Find Creative Solutions To Complex Communication Challenges.
Experience In Change Management: Waste Management Is A Dynamic Company That Is Constantly Evolving And Adapting To New Challenges And Opportunities.
