Design and develop software applications on the Salesforce platform to support Waste Management's waste management services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure that the software applications are scalable, efficient, and maintainable.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality and error-free code.
Stay current with industry best practices, trends, and advancements in Salesforce development.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of software applications.
Act as a subject matter expert on the Salesforce platform and provide recommendations for enhancements and updates.
Follow coding standards and practices to ensure consistency and maintainability of the codebase.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience With Salesforce Development And Customization: A Principal Engineer, Software - Salesforce At Waste Management Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Salesforce Architecture, Development Principles, And Customization Options. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Maintaining Complex Salesforce Solutions.
Strong Technical Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Leading A Team Of Developers And Providing Technical Guidance And Direction. They Should Also Be Able To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Business Stakeholders, To Ensure The Successful Delivery Of Projects.
Knowledge Of Waste Management Industry: Waste Management Is A Leading Provider Of Waste And Environmental Services, And The Principal Engineer, Software - Salesforce Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Waste Management Industry And Its Specific Technology Needs. This Includes Knowledge Of Regulatory Compliance, Industry Standards, And Best Practices.
Expertise In Software Development Best Practices: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Foundation In Software Development Best Practices, Including Agile Methodologies, Code Review Processes, And Automated Testing. They Should Also Have Experience With Software Development Tools, Such As Git, Jira, And Continuous Integration Tools.
