Plant Maintenance Assistant Technician

The successful candidate will have a passion for safety, an attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.The Plant Maintenance Assistant Technician must possess a high school diploma and a minimum of two years of relevant experience in plant maintenance or a similar field. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the areas of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and welding, and must be able to read and understand blueprints and schematics. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required. The successful candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and welding in accordance with safety protocols.
2. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately complete assigned tasks.
3. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activity.
4. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
5. Monitor and inspect equipment for any signs of wear and tear, and take necessary steps to ensure its proper functioning.
6. Perform preventative maintenance to extend the life of the equipment.
7. Ensure that all repairs and installations are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
8. Assist with ordering of supplies and materials as needed.
9. Monitor and update inventory of supplies and equipment.
10. Assist with other duties as assigned.
