  1. Lead and manage the daily operations of our waste processing facility, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulations.
  2. Oversee and coordinate all aspects of waste management, including collection, sorting, processing, and disposal.
  3. Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
  4. Monitor and maintain the facility's equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and identify any necessary repairs or upgrades.
  5. Train and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
  6. Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  7. Communicate with regulatory agencies, such as the Environmental Protection Agency, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of necessary materials and services.
  9. Monitor and manage the facility's budget, including expenses and operating costs.
  10. Conduct regular inspections and audits of the facility to identify any potential safety hazards or environmental concerns.
  11. Collaborate with other departments within the company to develop and implement sustainable waste management practices.
  12. Stay informed about industry developments and innovations in waste management and incorporate them into our operations as appropriate.
  13. Represent the company in a professional manner and promote our commitment to sustainability and responsible waste management practices.
  14. Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise in the facility's operations.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Job Qualifications
  • Prior Experience In A Leadership Role: A Plant Lead At Waste Management Is Expected To Oversee And Manage A Team Of Employees. Therefore, It Is Essential For Candidates To Have Prior Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In A Similar Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Waste Management Processes And Regulations: Waste Management Is A Highly Regulated Industry And It Is Crucial For A Plant Lead To Have A Thorough Understanding Of Waste Management Processes And Regulations. This Includes Knowledge Of Environmental Laws, Health And Safety Regulations, And Waste Disposal Procedures.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Plant Lead, You Will Be Responsible For Communicating With A Diverse Team, As Well As With Customers, Stakeholders, And Government Officials. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Ability To Analyze Data And Make Strategic Decisions: A Plant Lead Is Responsible For Monitoring And Analyzing Plant Operations, Identifying Areas For Improvement, And Making Strategic Decisions To Optimize Efficiency And Productivity. Candidates For This Role Should Have Strong Analytical Skills And The Ability To Make Data-Driven Decisions.
