Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator II to join our team and help us continue our mission of reducing our environmental impact. As a Heavy Equipment Operator II, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and front-end loaders, to assist in the proper disposal and processing of waste materials. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in operating heavy equipment, a valid driver's license, and a strong work ethic. Join us in making a positive impact on the environment while utilizing your expertise in heavy equipment operation.

Operate heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and front-end loaders, to assist in the proper disposal and processing of waste materials
Maintain and inspect equipment regularly to ensure safe and efficient operation
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment
Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor
Work closely with other team members to coordinate and execute tasks efficiently
Ensure that all waste materials are handled and disposed of properly, following all regulations and guidelines
Keep accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and surrounding grounds
Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
Provide excellent customer service to clients and address any concerns or questions they may have regarding our waste management services
Attend training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and waste management practices.

Job Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) With A Clean Driving Record.
2-3 Years Of Experience Operating Heavy Equipment, Such As Bulldozers, Excavators, Loaders, And Compactors.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Ability To Read And Interpret Construction Plans And Blueprints.
Knowledge Of Safety Regulations And Procedures For Operating Heavy Equipment In A Waste Management Environment.
