Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and front-end loaders to move, load, and compact waste materials.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating heavy equipment and ensure the safety of yourself and others on the job site.
Maintain and perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure its proper functioning and report any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Monitor and manage waste materials according to company policies and procedures, including proper disposal and recycling methods.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete necessary documentation.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
Adhere to company values and promote a positive and respectful work environment.
Continuously strive to improve processes and find ways to increase efficiency and productivity.
Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and trends to ensure compliance and contribute to the company's sustainability efforts.
Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain a positive relationship with clients and partners.
Attend training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to heavy equipment operation.

Job Qualifications

Experience Operating Heavy Equipment: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Operating Heavy Equipment, Such As Bulldozers, Excavators, And Front-End Loaders.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): A Cdl Is Required For Operating Certain Types Of Heavy Equipment, Such As Dump Trucks And Tractor-Trailers. Candidates Should Possess A Valid Cdl And Have A Clean Driving Record.
Safety Training And Certifications: Waste Management Prioritizes Safety In All Aspects Of Their Operations. Candidates Should Have Completed Safety Training And Hold Relevant Certifications, Such As Osha 10 Or Msha.
Mechanical Aptitude: Heavy Equipment Operators Are Responsible For The Routine Maintenance And Troubleshooting Of Their Equipment. Candidates Should Have A Strong Mechanical Aptitude And Be Able To Perform Basic Repairs And Maintenance Tasks.
Ability To Work In A Team Environment: Waste Management Operates As A Team, And Heavy Equipment Operators Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively And Work Collaboratively With Other Team Members. Candidates Should Have Strong Interpersonal Skills And Be Able To Work Well With Others.
