- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and compactors in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow waste management procedures and regulations to properly dispose of waste materials.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including time and materials used.

Experience Operating Heavy Equipment: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Operating Heavy Equipment, Such As Bulldozers, Excavators, And Loaders.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): In Order To Operate Certain Types Of Heavy Equipment, A Cdl With Appropriate Endorsements May Be Required. Applicants Must Have A Clean Driving Record And Be Able To Obtain A Cdl If Necessary.
Knowledge Of Safety Procedures: Waste Management Takes Safety Very Seriously And Requires All Equipment Operators To Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Procedures And Protocols. Candidates Should Have Knowledge Of Osha Regulations And Be Able To Maintain A Safe Work Environment.
Mechanical Aptitude: Heavy Equipment Operators Are Responsible For The Maintenance And Upkeep Of Their Equipment. Therefore, Candidates Should Have A Strong Mechanical Aptitude And Be Able To Troubleshoot And Perform Minor Repairs.
Ability To Work In A Team: As Part Of A Larger Waste Management Team, Heavy Equipment Operators Must Be Able To Work Well With Others And Communicate Effectively. They May Also Be Responsible For Training And Mentoring New Operators, So Strong Leadership Skills Are A Plus.
