Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, hardworking Heavy Duty Truck Technician to join our team at Waste Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and other types of equipment in a safe and efficient manner.The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and other related systems, as well as the ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and other technical documents. Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and other types of equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  2. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and other technical documents.
  3. Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs according to safety protocols.
  4. Utilize a variety of tools and equipment to diagnose and fix issues.
  5. Follow safety standards and ensure all safety precautions are taken when working on vehicles.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory of parts and equipment.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed.
  8. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  9. Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
