  1. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on diesel vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, utilizing advanced knowledge and skills in diesel mechanics.
  3. Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  4. Replace and repair faulty parts and components, such as engines, transmissions, and exhaust systems.
  5. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed, including parts used and labor hours.
  6. Communicate effectively with management and other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on vehicles and equipment.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and changes in diesel technology, and implement new techniques and procedures as necessary.
  9. Train and mentor junior mechanics, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  11. Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and procurement, to identify and address any issues or concerns with equipment and vehicles.
  12. Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to waste management and environmental safety.
  13. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, promoting a positive image and maintaining good relationships with customers and colleagues.
  14. Continuously strive to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the maintenance and repair process.
  15. Take initiative to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving measures.
  16. Adhere to all regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
