  1. Operate commercial waste management vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures and all applicable traffic laws and regulations.
  2. Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
  3. Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely and accurate collection of waste materials from residential and commercial locations.
  4. Load and unload waste materials using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring proper disposal and compliance with all safety protocols.
  5. Communicate with dispatch and other team members to coordinate routes, resolve any issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, and daily activity logs.
  7. Adhere to all waste management and environmental regulations and guidelines to ensure safe and responsible handling of waste materials.
  8. Continuously monitor and report any potential hazards or safety concerns while on the job, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
  9. Provide assistance and support to other team members as needed, including training and mentoring new drivers.
  10. Represent Waste Management in a professional and courteous manner at all times, maintaining a positive image and reputation in the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) With Appropriate Endorsements: A Cdl Truck Driver At Waste Management Must Possess A Valid Cdl With The Necessary Endorsements, Such As Class A, To Operate Heavy Vehicles.

  • Clean Driving Record: Waste Management Values Safety And Requires Its Truck Drivers To Have A Clean Driving Record With No Major Traffic Violations In The Past 3 Years.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience: To Be Considered For A Cdl Truck Driver Home Daily Job At Waste Management, Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Operating Commercial Vehicles.

  • Ability To Operate Different Types Of Trucks: Waste Management's Fleet Consists Of Various Types Of Trucks, Including Roll-Off, Front-End, And Side-Load. A Qualified Candidate Must Have The Ability To Operate Different Types Of Trucks Depending On The Job Requirements.

  • Physical Fitness And Stamina: This Job Requires Physical Fitness And Stamina As Cdl Truck Drivers Are Required To Lift And Move Heavy Loads, As Well As Spend Long Hours On The Road. Candidates Must Be Able To Meet The Physical Demands Of The Job.
