Operate and maintain a commercial CDL truck to transport waste materials to designated disposal sites.
Ensure timely and safe delivery of waste materials while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation of the truck.
Maintain accurate records of daily routes, deliveries, and any incidents or accidents that occur.
Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, dispatch, and customers to ensure efficient and timely service.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to company property or equipment.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation of waste materials.
Maintain a clean and organized truck, both inside and out, to promote a professional image and ensure the safety of the vehicle.
Report any issues or concerns with the truck or equipment to the appropriate supervisor or maintenance team.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to providing high-quality waste management services.
Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness in waste transportation and disposal.
Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain CDL license and stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices.
Maintain a positive and cooperative relationship with team members, supervisors, and customers.

Job Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): A Cdl Truck Driver Must Possess A Valid Cdl License With The Appropriate Endorsements For Operating A Heavy-Duty Commercial Vehicle.
Clean Driving Record: Waste Management Requires Its Cdl Truck Drivers To Have A Clean Driving Record With No Major Violations Or Accidents Within The Past Three Years. This Ensures Safe And Responsible Driving Practices On The Job.
Experience With Heavy-Duty Vehicles: Candidates For The Cdl Truck Driver Position Should Have Prior Experience Operating Heavy-Duty Vehicles, Such As Garbage Trucks Or Other Large Commercial Vehicles. This Experience Demonstrates Familiarity With The Equipment And The Ability To Handle The Demands Of The Job.
Physical Fitness: The Job Of A Cdl Truck Driver At Waste Management Can Be Physically Demanding, Involving Long Hours Of Driving, Loading, And Unloading Heavy Waste Containers. As Such, Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Meet The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Knowledge Of Safety Regulations: Waste Management Places A High Priority On Safety And Requires Its Cdl Truck Drivers To Have Knowledge Of Safety Regulations And Protocols For Operating Heavy Commercial Vehicles. This Includes Proper Vehicle Maintenance, Adherence To Traffic Laws And Regulations, And Safe Handling Of Hazardous Materials.
