Oversee the day-to-day operations of post collection facilities, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize waste disposal and recycling processes.
Monitor and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence and meet company goals.
Manage and train a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Develop and maintain budgets and financial reports for the post collection operation.
Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
Represent the company and build relationships with clients and community partners.
Stay current on industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for improvements to processes and procedures.
Handle any escalated issues or complaints from customers in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare and present reports and updates to senior management on the performance of the post collection operation.

Job Qualifications

Comprehensive Knowledge Of Waste Management Processes And Regulations: The Area Director Must Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Waste Collection, Transportation, And Disposal Processes, As Well As Government Regulations And Environmental Standards Related To Waste Management.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills: The Role Of An Area Director Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Post Collection Operation Staff Effectively. This Includes Setting Goals, Providing Direction, And Ensuring That All Operations Are Running Smoothly.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Area Director Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Staff, Customers, And External Stakeholders. They Must Also Be Able To Build And Maintain Positive Relationships With Various Stakeholders, Including Government Agencies, Community Leaders, And Industry Partners.
Financial Acumen: The Area Director Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Financial Management, Budgeting, And Cost Control To Ensure That Post Collection Operations Are Running Efficiently And Within Budget. They Must Also Have The Ability To Analyze Financial Data And Make Strategic Decisions To Improve Operational Effectiveness.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Waste Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Position In The Waste Management Industry. This Experience Should Include Managing Post Collection Operations, Overseeing Staff, And Developing And Implementing Operational Strategies.
