Studio Tour London - The Making Of Harry Potter (WBSTL). This is a 6-month Rolling FTC opportunity that will allow you to utilize your technical expertise to bring the magic of Harry Potter to life. We are seeking someone who is detail-oriented, a problem-solver, and a team player to join our dynamic and fast-paced team.   1. Maintain and troubleshoot all technical equipment and systems used in the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making Of Harry Potter (WBSTL).
  2. Ensure all technical aspects of the tour, including lighting, sound, and special effects, are running smoothly and safely.
  3. Collaborate with the production team to design and implement technical elements for new tour experiences and events.
  4. Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks on all technical equipment and systems.
  5. Train and supervise other team members on the proper use and maintenance of technical equipment.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during tours or events.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve the WBSTL experience.
  8. Communicate any technical updates or changes to the necessary departments and team members.
  9. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for technical support and services.
  10. Work closely with the Health and Safety team to ensure all technical elements are in compliance with safety regulations.
  11. Assist in the planning and execution of special events and promotions, providing technical support as needed.
  12. Maintain inventory and stock of technical equipment and supplies, coordinating with the appropriate departments for replenishment.
  13. Collaborate with other departments to ensure all technical elements are seamlessly integrated into the overall tour experience.
  14. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and teamwork.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Technical Services: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In Technical Services, Preferably In A Similar Environment Such As A Studio Or Theme Park. This Will Demonstrate Their Understanding Of The Equipment And Systems Used At Wbstl And Their Ability To Troubleshoot And Maintain Them.

  • Knowledge Of Film And Television Production: As Wbstl Is A Studio Tour For The Making Of Harry Potter, Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Film And Television Production Processes. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Support And Assist With The Technical Needs Of The Tour, Such As Lighting, Sound, And Special Effects.

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills: The Role Of A Technical Services Technician At Wbstl Will Require Frequent Interaction With Guests And Colleagues. Candidates Should Possess Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills To Ensure A Positive And Enjoyable Experience For All Visitors.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Wbstl Tour Can Get Busy, Especially During Peak Times, And The Technical Services Technician Will Need To Be Able To Work Efficiently And Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment. This Includes Being Able To Multitask, Prioritize Tasks, And Adapt To Changing Situations.

  • Attention To Detail And Problem-Solving Skills: Technical Issues Can Arise At Any Time, And The Technician Will Need To Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Quickly Identify And Resolve Any Technical Problems That May Occur During The Tour.
