Job Description

WarnerMedia is seeking a Stagehand for our Scenic Services team on a temporary basis. As a Stagehand, you will play a crucial role in bringing our productions to life by assisting with the construction, installation, and maintenance of scenic elements.   1. Assist with the construction, installation, and maintenance of scenic elements for productions.
  2. Collaborate with team members to ensure all scenic elements are completed accurately and on time.
  3. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working on set.
  4. Flexibility to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
  5. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  7. Troubleshoot and problem-solve any issues that may arise during the construction or installation process.
  8. Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored.
  9. Follow instructions from supervisors and adapt to changing production needs.
  10. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude towards the job and team.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
  12. Remain up-to-date on industry trends and techniques.
  13. Assist with load-in and load-out of sets and props.
  14. Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of the production by performing duties to the best of your abilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Stagecraft: A Stagehand Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Stage Mechanics, Rigging, Lighting, And Other Technical Aspects Of Theatrical Productions.

  • Physical Stamina: This Job Requires The Ability To Lift Heavy Objects, Work At Heights, And Stand For Long Periods Of Time. Candidates Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Experience With Scenic Construction: Experience Building And Assembling Sets, Scenery, And Props Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Have A Working Knowledge Of Tools And Techniques Used In Scenic Construction.

  • Teamwork And Communication Skills: Working As Part Of A Team Is Crucial In This Role, And Candidates Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Other Stagehands, As Well As Other Departments Such As Lighting And Sound.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: The Entertainment Industry Can Be Unpredictable, And Last-Minute Changes Are Common. A Stagehand Should Be Able To Adapt To Changing Situations And Work Well Under Pressure.
