Job Description

Design, architect and support a data pipeline platform that allows a customer’s viewership data to directly impact their individualized experiences in the HBO Max product. Democratize video data across the organization by owning and maintaining the centralized processing, reporting and business intelligence systems for customers’ video experience. Design, validate, and deploy new real time data insights that empower our teams to take action related to video performance, encoding efficiency and network efficiency. Become an industry expert in the world of video streaming delivery. Have a deep understanding of software data structures and algorithms. Ideate and innovate on complex software solutions. Be a team resource, growing other engineers and defining team software standards and engineering best practices. Describe highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a way they can understand

Job Qualifications

  • Full-stack industry experience, or hands-on familiarity with both client and server technology

  • 5+ years of professional development experience using different languages

  • Experience with Analytics Databases or Engines (like ElasticSearch, IronDB, or Prometheus )
