- Design and develop efficient and reliable ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter to support the organization's data-driven business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Test and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency of data integration.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all ETL processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize data integration and enhance overall data quality.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in ETL development and recommend new technologies or processes to improve data integration.
- Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to ensure data models and ETL processes align with the organization's data strategy.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the ETL development team.
- Adhere to data governance and security standards to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data.
- Participate in project planning and estimation activities, providing technical expertise and recommendations.
- Work closely with data analysts and business users to understand data requirements and provide data solutions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and any potential issues.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to ETL development processes.
- Continuously monitor and improve ETL processes to ensure high performance and scalability.
Extensive Experience In Informatica Powercenter: A Sr. Staff Etl Developer At Warnermedia Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working With Informatica Powercenter. They Should Be Well-Versed In Designing, Developing, And Deploying Etl Solutions Using This Tool.
Strong Understanding Of Data Warehousing Principles: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Warehousing Concepts, Including Data Modeling, Data Integration, And Data Quality. They Should Have Experience Working With Data Warehouses Such As Teradata, Oracle, Or Sql Server.
Proficiency In Sql And Scripting Languages: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Sql Skills And Be Able To Write Complex Queries To Extract, Transform And Load Data. They Should Also Have Experience Writing Scripts In Languages Such As Python, Perl, Or Shell For Automation And Scheduling Of Etl Processes.
Experience With Big Data Platforms: The Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience Working With Big Data Platforms Like Hadoop, Spark, Or Snowflake. They Should Possess The Knowledge And Skills To Design And Develop Etl Processes That Can Handle Large Volumes Of Data.
Team Leadership And Communication Skills: A Sr. Staff Etl Developer At Warnermedia Should Have Experience Leading A Team Of Etl Developers And Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders. They Should Also Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, Dynamic Environment.
