  1. Develop and execute social media strategies for the NBA, in line with overall brand goals and objectives.
  2. Create engaging and relevant content that connects with fans and drives conversation on social media platforms.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, digital, and NBA partners, to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all social media channels.
  4. Monitor and analyze social media trends, insights, and analytics to inform and improve content strategy.
  5. Engage with fans and respond to comments and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and proactively suggest new ideas and approaches to enhance the NBA's social media presence.
  7. Assist with live coverage and social media activations during NBA games and events.
  8. Work closely with the NBA's social media team to ensure alignment and consistency across all league and team accounts.
  9. Maintain and update content calendars for various social media platforms, ensuring timely and relevant content delivery.
  10. Collaborate with influencers, athletes, and other partners to create and distribute compelling and authentic social media content.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including players, coaches, teams, and sponsors.
  12. Monitor and report on social media metrics and analytics to track and evaluate the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  13. Adhere to all brand guidelines and ensure all content is in line with the NBA's values and standards.
  14. Provide support to other social media team members and assist with other tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Social Media Management And Programming, Preferably In The Sports Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Nba Culture, Teams, And Players.

  • Proficiency In Social Media Platforms Such As Twitter, Instagram, And Facebook, As Well As Social Media Management Tools.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced, Deadline-Driven Environment.
