We are currently seeking a talented and creative Shooter/Editor to join our team on a temporary basis at WarnerMedia. As a Shooter/Editor, you will play a crucial role in capturing and producing visually compelling sports content for our growing audience. We are looking for someone with a passion for sports, a keen eye for detail, and a knack for storytelling through video. If you have a strong portfolio of shooting and editing sports content, we want to hear from you!

  1. Capture high-quality video footage of various sports events and athletes.
  2. Edit and assemble video footage into engaging and visually appealing content for our website and social media platforms.
  3. Collaborate with the content team to develop creative and unique ideas for sports video content.
  4. Stay updated on current trends and techniques in video production and editing.
  5. Ensure timely delivery of edited content to meet publishing deadlines.
  6. Continuously review and improve the quality of our video content.
  7. Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras, tripods, and lighting.
  8. Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency in visual style and tone.
  9. Work closely with the content team to ensure the video content aligns with overall content strategy.
  10. Communicate with team members to plan and coordinate video shoots.
  11. Keep track of all video assets and maintain an organized video library.
  12. Collaborate with other team members, including writers and designers, to create multi-media content.
  13. Work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines.
  14. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while shooting on location.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Bleacher Report.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Shooting And Editing Sports Content: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Both Shooting And Editing Sports Content, With A Proven Track Record Of Creating High-Quality Videos For Digital Platforms.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Sports And Sports Media Landscape: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Sports Industry And Be Well-Versed In The Latest Trends And Developments In Sports Media. This Includes Knowledge Of Various Sports Leagues, Teams, Players, And Events.

  • Proficient In Video Editing Software: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using Video Editing Software Such As Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Or Avid Media Composer. They Should Also Have Experience In Creating Motion Graphics And Visual Effects To Enhance The Videos.

  • Ability To Work Under Tight Deadlines: As A Temporary Position, The Shooter/Editor Will Be Expected To Produce High-Quality Videos Within A Short Time Frame. The Candidate Should Be Able To Work Efficiently Under Pressure And Deliver Projects On Time Without Compromising On Quality.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: The Candidate Should Have Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With A Team. They Should Also Be Able To Take Direction And Give Creative Input To Produce Engaging And Impactful Videos.
