  1. Develop and maintain accurate service maps within the ServiceNow platform to enhance IT operations at WarnerMedia.
  2. Utilize your experience and expertise as an ITOM Visibility Service Mapping Engineer to create efficient and effective service maps.
  3. Collaborate with various teams and departments to gather requirements and ensure accurate service mapping.
  4. Monitor and analyze service map data to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  5. Continuously improve and optimize service maps to align with changing business needs and processes.
  6. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance service mapping processes.
  7. Act as a subject matter expert on service mapping within the ServiceNow platform and provide guidance and support to colleagues.
  8. Work closely with other IT teams to ensure service maps are integrated and aligned with other IT processes and systems.
  9. Communicate and present service mapping updates and progress to stakeholders and senior management.
  10. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall IT operations and processes.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards related to service mapping and IT operations.
  12. Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for automation and streamlining of service mapping processes.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Servicenow Itom Suite: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of The Servicenow Itom Suite, Including Service Mapping, Discovery, And Event Management. They Should Be Able To Demonstrate Their Ability To Effectively Utilize These Tools To Create And Maintain Accurate Service Maps.

  • Experience With It Infrastructure: A Strong Background In It Infrastructure Is Essential For A Service Mapping Engineer. This Includes Knowledge Of Network, Server, And Application Infrastructure Components, As Well As A Deep Understanding Of It Service Delivery Processes.

  • Strong Troubleshooting Skills: A Service Mapping Engineer Must Have Exceptional Troubleshooting Skills To Identify And Resolve Issues With Service Maps. They Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Data And Identify Root Causes Of Problems To Ensure Accurate Mapping Of It Services.

  • Knowledge Of Itil Best Practices: Service Mapping Engineers Should Have A Good Understanding Of Itil Best Practices And How They Relate To Service Mapping. This Includes An Understanding Of How To Leverage Itil Processes To Improve Service Mapping Accuracy And Efficiency.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: Service Mapping Engineers Must Possess Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams. They Should Be Able To Communicate Complex Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders And Work Collaboratively With Other It Teams To Ensure Accurate And Up-To-Date Service Maps.
