Job Description

As a Senior Technical Program Manager for Data & Analytics at WarnerMedia, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our data-driven initiatives and projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about leveraging data to make strategic business decisions and has strong technical project management skills.   1. Develop and drive the overall data and analytics strategy for WarnerMedia, in alignment with company objectives and priorities.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into data-driven initiatives and projects.
  3. Lead the planning and execution of data-centric projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
  4. Define project requirements and manage project timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
  5. Identify and mitigate project risks, including resource constraints and technical challenges.
  6. Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders, including senior leadership, on a regular basis.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including business leaders, data scientists, and engineers.
  8. Manage a team of project managers and analysts, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data and analytics, and recommend new tools and technologies to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  10. Foster a data-driven culture within the organization by promoting the use of data to inform decision-making.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  12. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
  13. Identify and implement opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  14. Represent WarnerMedia at industry events and conferences, showcasing our data and analytics capabilities.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to data privacy and security.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Data And Analytics Tools And Technologies: A Senior Technical Program Manager At Warnermedia Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Data And Analytics Tools Such As Sql, Python, R, And Tableau. They Should Also Have Experience With Big Data Platforms Like Hadoop And Spark.

  • Extensive Experience In Managing Data And Analytics Projects: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Leading Data And Analytics Projects, Preferably In A Media Or Entertainment Industry. They Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Delivering Complex Projects On Time And Within Budget.

  • Strong Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: As A Senior Role, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders. They Should Also Have Experience In Managing Relationships With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners.

  • Proven Experience In Data Governance And Compliance: Data Privacy And Security Are Crucial In The Media Industry, And A Senior Technical Program Manager Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Governance And Compliance Regulations. They Should Be Able To Ensure That All Data-Related Projects Adhere To Legal And Ethical Standards.

  • Leadership And Team Management Experience: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of Data And Analytics Professionals. They Should Have The Ability To Motivate And Guide Team Members Towards Achieving Project Goals, As Well As Mentor Junior Team Members And Foster A Collaborative Work Environment.
