- Provide legal support for international content distribution agreements and negotiations.
- Review and advise on the legal aspects of distribution deals, including licensing, syndication, and co-production agreements.
- Advise on global distribution strategies for various types of content, including film, television, and digital media.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on industry trends and laws related to international content distribution.
- Draft and review contract language to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development, finance, and marketing, to ensure successful distribution of content.
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel and other stakeholders involved in content distribution.
- Identify and mitigate potential legal risks and provide proactive solutions.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and make recommendations for improving distribution processes.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to represent the company and network with potential partners.
- Train and mentor junior legal team members on international content distribution.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the legal team and cross-functional teams.

Extensive Legal Knowledge And Experience: A Senior Legal Counsel For International Content Distribution At Warnermedia Must Possess A Strong Understanding Of International Laws And Regulations Related To Content Distribution. This Includes Copyright, Licensing, And Distribution Agreements.
International Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working With International Partners And Managing Legal Issues In Multiple Jurisdictions. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of Cultural Differences And The Ability To Navigate Complex Legal Systems.
Strong Negotiation Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Legal Team, This Role Will Be Responsible For Negotiating Complex Deals With International Partners. The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successful Negotiations And The Ability To Advocate For Warnermedia's Best Interests.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: In Addition To Legal Expertise, A Senior Legal Counsel For International Content Distribution Should Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Legal Concepts To Non-Legal Stakeholders And Build Relationships With External Partners.
