  1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of data centres to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
  2. Monitor and maintain the health and performance of all data centre infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and power systems.
  3. Implement and maintain best practices and standards for data centre operations, including security, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  4. Plan and execute data centre expansion and consolidation projects, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or incidents related to data centre infrastructure in a timely manner.
  6. Conduct regular audits and assessments of data centre infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of services and resolve any issues.
  8. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data centre infrastructure and recommend innovative solutions to enhance performance and efficiency.
  9. Develop and maintain documentation, including procedures, policies, and diagrams, for data centre operations.
  10. Mentor and train junior team members on data centre infrastructure best practices and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Data Centre Infrastructure: The Candidate Must Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Designing, Implementing And Maintaining Data Centre Infrastructure, Including Servers, Storage, Networking, And Virtualization.

  • Strong Technical Skills: A Senior Engineer Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Centre Technologies, Including Server Hardware, Storage Arrays, Network Switches, And Virtualization Software. They Should Also Be Proficient In Scripting Languages And Have A Strong Working Knowledge Of Operating Systems, Such As Linux And Windows.

  • Project Management Experience: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Large-Scale Data Centre Infrastructure Projects, Including Budgeting, Resource Allocation, And Meeting Project Timelines.

  • Leadership And Team Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Leading A Team Of Engineers And Technicians And Be Able To Effectively Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Mentorship To Team Members.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Senior Engineer Should Possess Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Effectively Work With Cross-Functional Teams, Vendors, And Stakeholders. They Should Also Be Able To Communicate Complex Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
