- Develop and implement an effective internal audit and compliance strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Oversee and manage a team of internal audit professionals, including setting goals, providing guidance and support, and monitoring performance.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of risk within the organization.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors.
- Lead and perform complex and high-risk audits, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation and reporting.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvements.
- Keep abreast of industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments and business units to promote a culture of compliance and risk management.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure staff are aware of their responsibilities and obligations related to internal audit and compliance.
- Provide regular reports and updates on the status of internal audit activities to senior management and the audit committee.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely completion of audit projects.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all internal audit activities are conducted in accordance with professional standards and ethical guidelines.
- Stay informed of emerging trends and technologies in the internal audit and compliance fields and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Represent the organization in external meetings, conferences, and events related to internal audit and compliance.
Extensive Experience In Internal Audit: A Senior Director At Warnermedia Should Possess A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Internal Audit, Preferably In A Large Organization.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Candidate Must Have A Proven Track Record Of Leading And Managing A Team Of Auditors, With The Ability To Inspire And Motivate Team Members To Achieve Their Full Potential.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Senior Director, The Candidate Will Need To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization, Including Senior Management And Board Members. Strong Interpersonal Skills Are Also Crucial For Building Relationships And Influencing Decision-Making.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Audit Methodologies And Standards: The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Audit Methodologies And Standards, Including But Not Limited To Coso, Sox, And Iia Standards. They Should Also Be Familiar With Emerging Trends And Best Practices In The Industry.
Strategic Thinking And Business Acumen: A Senior Director At Warnermedia Should Possess Strong Business Acumen And The Ability To Think Strategically.
